Klô Pelgag‘s Montreal comeback at MTelus was a big deal. The show started with the singer-songwriter emerging from a giant vagina; the audience witnessed the birth of Klô attached to a huge umbilical cord. Dressed by Tristan Réhel and staged by none other than Laurence Baz Morais, the show was full of surprises. From the sweetest crowd surfing in history on Soleil to the surprising appearance of two bodybuilders in tight shorts during Mélamine, the artist ended the show with a shower of temporary tattoos drawn by Char Bataille Illustration, who also painted the magnificent mural we saw on stage. It was a memorable evening “that will never happen again,” as Klô Pelgag said. But don’t worry, it’s not the end of the world if you weren’t there since she’ll be back on tour starting May 19th. Klô Pelgag will be performing in Amqui, New Richmond, Sainte-Anne-des-Monts, Matane, Mont-Laurier, Gatineau, Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Brossard, Sorel-Tracy, Saint-Eustache and Quebec City. She is also part of the lineup for the Mural festival in Montreal and the FestiVoix in Trois-Rivière.
